I think it depends whether it was a Bring a Trailer Verified Check but basically they use Carmel as an independent agent so you transfer funds to Carmel and Carmel releases them when they receive title from the seller. They should send you an email with the detail in so i would contact them if you haven't received this.
As I am sure you know it always worth checking this stuff out first because it can add a bit of cost to a purchase if you have to pay, auction fees, shipping, insurance and tax. Also GBP is suffering vs USD at the moment so check your exchange rates - brokers can offer better rates usually.
I really appreciate that. I have the title etc, from the seller, and I am using Ship my Car - so they sort all the other stuff. + Got the USD a few weeks back, so that's all good, just wanted to know on releaseing the funds.
Probably still worth going through Carmel because there is likely to be more come back if there were to be any problems than being left to fight it out yourself with a remote seller.
I do like the one year only '73. Having previously owned a '72 with a luggage rack I always intended sourcing the straps that hold the T Tops down as there's no room left in the cargo area when you store the tops in there.
Just checked the auction on BAT and what a deal you got there
