C5 headlights

Used the headlights yesterday for the first time ,they will now not go down ,headlamp switch appears to activate a relay but they are stuck up .

Is there any noise from the headlamp gearboxes as if they're trying but not moving? If you have it's damaged gear wheels, common problem. You can try winding the headlamps down manually via the knob behind the rubber cover, however if it's a gear problem then you'll have the same problem, although you'll be able to 'encourage' the headlamp back in place.

Read the PDF I attached below is from GM for C5s
Also look at the wiring at the bottom of this document

First thing is checking both #3 & 4 fuses

The HDM located below right headlight, it reverses the voltage when commanding door closed

If need be there is a ground splice pack (100) below the right headlight, mounted on the frame you see several ground wires going into
the pack.
The top of it comes off, and you may find water has corroded the male and female pins, also check the bolt of the pack mounts to frame

Thank you for your reply,I got round to checking the circuitry today and it is the headlamp control module
at fault,do you know of a reliable source to obtain one? I am in Florida in October and would like to pick one up
if possible.
