Supporting vendor
Never ends, buying crap that claims forcing more air into cylinders and lots of performance gains
This vendor, still playing this game and getting suckers to fall for it
In this case, C8 owners
Performance Design Carbon pTR C8 Corvette Intake Manifold $2,100 Plus Install Labor
Due to amount of labor to replace the intake manifold, maybe add another $1,500 ?
*Cars vary in base horsepower.
The Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold increases the horsepower by 25 at the rear wheel on average.
So which is it, only 25 RWHP for both mods or 50 RWHP if TB is also used ?
In any case, their chassis dyno numbers are not matching up to their claims
and no one mentions this whacks the GM warranty and violation of Federal SMOG rules
One C8 Sucker spends all the costs and now says :
Well, to say I'm disappointed is a major understatement.
After several dyno runs, we see no additional power added.
We have spoken with LPE regarding our results.
We are waiting on LPE Engineering to get back with us.
I will keep you in the loop as we try and untangle this no gains issue.
