C8 Z06, $126,000 - Hell No

We were discussing the likely UK cost of the few that make it here in Blighty.......we seemed to agree on £130K sterling.........now I've seen your posting perhaps we'll see it even more expensive (although it is the convertible). Unusually (and unlike the last few Z06's) the fuel consumption looks to be a fair bit lower than the stock C8!

And that is not the total cost as the buyer lives in Los Angeles, Ca
Now adds more as to 11% tax, plus license and registration!

I would bet that most paying this huge price is not a racer and never use more than HP/Tq
a base Stingray uses but getting worse fuel mileage.

In the end, base Stingray was $59,100, above Z06, $176,000 US just so someone can claim they have a Z06 and
never put any engine load to see what that FPC LT6 can or cannot do

BTW, notice the printing on the bottom of shipper, GM still testing the dual turbo LT7 for either the ZR1 or Grand Sport
Imagine the selling price for those !

Wow!
Thanks, I like free ones :)
Wonder though when they start producing ones where the passenger's side has the steering wheel for the UK ? :)

Perhaps those people prepared to pay those grossly OTT prices should 'invest' the additional cost in a series of consultations with a 'shrink'?

Look at this scumbag dealer
Lease for only $244,000 for Z06 and has 87 miles on it (bet hard mile at that)

Imagine even if the state's sales tax is 10% that is another $80,000
and how to get car insurance for that selling price when car if smashed up,
insurance company would never pay more than the car's true worth ?
