Yes - agreed value. Interestingly breakdown cover counted for 25% of the premium!
You must be doing something wrong. I havnt even been alive for 28 years (just) and paid alot less than that with Adrian Flux.
I'll give em a ring Monday, mines coming up for renewal, Brentacre leading the pack so far, they cover any modifications and you don't have to inform them of changes, would need to read the small print though.

I think you do so that they can be noted on the policy but like us if it's non performance modifications then unlikely your premium will change
The nice thing I've found with Brentacre is that renewal was the same price as first year, something that's quite rare these days with almost every contract eg phones, broadband etc.
See this mainly with 'standard' insurers... specialist policies don't tend to vary as much year on year
