As a lover of Wagons/estate cars probably because as a kid we had big dogs Alsatians and Great Danes we always had big American estates on hand to transport us all. Still love and have them today ( not American tho) as they are very practical.

Here’s a Corvette wagon that I think looks cool. ( apart from the wheels) With factory mags it would look soo much better. 1970’s brown on it looks pretty good too. The Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser type roof is great. Wouldn’t mind it now.

One with factory wheels and aftermarket side pipes.
Not such an elaborate roof, probably a lot cheaper to make than the brown one .

You've got to admit it's got the look. :)(y) Not one for the purists perhaps but with a raft of mainly sensible mods, including a rebuilt C5 LS1 motor. If I had the money I'd be tempted.
Most of the C3 wagon conversions hardly qualify as estates since they usually have just an opening rear window - if you're lucky - rather than a full tailgate.
No lack of room here - multi storey car parks might be a no-no though........:(

The full size wagon was indeed a monster. Dad would take our entire football team home some Saturday mornings ( dog included) no seat belt regulations then, just all pack in. The vista cruisers were always my favourite because of the glass roof. The GM early 70’s impala/caprice had that clamshell rear, so cool showing my friends it work.
Totally impractical today in the UK tho, as with most/all full sized yanks. To think I drove them everyday now seems strange.

I remember as a very impressionable (late) teenager going out in the friend of a buddies '59 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan Squire (or Sedan) with its rather 'asthmatic' 352 cu in V8 (good reason for that) that comfortably sat 6 full size adults in two rows of bench seats and in the rear had a pair of fold-down small 'jump' seats that would sit 4 kids (perhaps even smallers adults) facing each other.......so effectively a 10 seater. Oh and the reason for its 'asthmatic' performance? - owner was doing some maintenance on the valve gear, dropped a couple of pushrods in the sump and couldn't be bothered to retrieve them.

This is a much later 1969 car.....but gives a good indication of its cavernous interior!

They certainly were the people carriers or load luggers of their day. They could swallow 8’x4’ sheets of whatever with ease. The last of them the rounded caprice and roadmasters were made in the same mould for carrying things. Had a roadmaster for work but it was too much trouble for parking, speaking into barrier machines ( as LHD) and couldn’t get into a couple of clients car parks as the turn was too tight.

Imagine trying to get winter traction on those thin tires and how about those 14-15 inch wheels
Remember those white walls, I used to use white shoe polish for those :)

Always preferred the thinner whitewall. Big fifties wide whites were too big for me.
My 57 T-Bird had them with KH wires. Looked correct. Did put a set of thinner whitewalls on it to see what it looked like. Didn’t look right.
