That supposed 'comparison' is infantile and stupid. Hasn't even shown a projected price. Reminds me of those kids Top Trumps card sets from a few years ago. The 'comparisons' select unimportant points (to most people I'd guess) to compare against (as perhaps one would with a cheap third world import vehicle). The majority of people will buy a McLaren, Ferrari or Porsche because it is a McLaren, Ferrari or Porsche and wouldn't even think about considering a new Corvette Z06. If I was to ask my next door neighbour his purchasing motives for buying a Ferrari Pista Spider I know he would have never even thought about a Corvette (nor McLaren, Porsche, Audi). For him like so many I'm guessing it will be the ability to carry his golf clubs and effectively 'out trump' all commers at the club house. I guess 'stateside' patriotic purchasing motives may dominate with some.....?

When you bear in mind the different price comparison in UK with, say, McLaren or Porsche it's harder to make the case for Corvette.

Over here nobody buys a Corvette as the automatic default choice - the Germans have got that stitched up. You need to really WANT a Corvette to pay so much money for one and then have only one dealership in the entire country. It's not exactly a convenient ownership prospect for the majority of people.

Seems like GM got a few marketing interns in for that document.
I will be very surprised (and impressed) if this new Z06 matches a 720S on outright speed.
