General Motors Australia and New Zealand have confirmed that deliveries of the 2024 Chevrolet RHD Corvette E-Ray all-wheel-drive to both markets will commence in August.
The recommended retail price in Australia is $275,000 and in New Zealand, it will be $285,000.
Offered in 3LZ Coupe configuration for Australia and New Zealand, the E-Ray retains the same LT2 6.2L V8 engine from the Corvette Stingray but adds an electric drive unit on its front axle, delivering more power, more torque, and even faster acceleration.
While Chevrolet’s V8 delivers 369kW of power and 637Nm of torque on its own, the E-Ray’s electrified powertrain lifts those outputs to 488kW and 806Nm, unlocking an exhilarating sprint to 60mph (97km/h) in 2.5
Harnessing those outputs is Chevrolet’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, with both automatic or driver-focused manual mode, while the electrified AWD system delivers grip, balance and precision, whether on the road or track.
Further sharpening the performance attributes is the inclusion of carbon-ceramic brakes.
The high-performance ZER Performance Package is standard for Australia and New Zealand. The latter dial-up E-Ray’s track-ready character with the inclusion of high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, ZER Performance Suspension with Magnetic Ride Control and a taller spoiler wicker for track use.

Powertrain:
With a rated power output of 119kW, the electrified motor powering the front axle, along with the mid-mounted LT2 V8 engine, provides an incredible 488kW combined power. And while the LT2 V8 engine offers 637nm torque for the rear wheels, the electric motor adds 169Nm torque to the front wheels.
The standard eight-speed dual-clutch transmission combines the smoothness of an automatic with the control of a manual, giving drivers high efficiency, lightning-quick shifts, and shorter lap times, accessed through the wheel-mounted paddle shifters.
A 1.9-kWh lithium-ion battery electrifies the Corvette for the first time, powering the electric drive unit that runs the front wheels. The battery is self-charging, picking up energy as the vehicle drives and brakes. It is rapidly replenished via regenerative energy from coasting and braking, as well as during everyday driving.
Elevating the mid-engine platform with electrified AWD assist takes the E-Ray to a whole new level of performance. Not only does this bring a giant leap in all-season capability through AWD, but the intelligent controls also dynamically adjust in real-time to provide front axle assist for stability and balance —providing the ultimate in precision and control.
