You need to select purchasing/shipping/duty/vat options that enable payment of all charge (both US and UK) 'up front' before completing purchase. You'll know exactly how much you are paying (whether in sterling or US dollar) - you can 'drop out' at that point if you think its too much and you won't get some sneaky additional charges as a surprise later on.

Bought four wheels and some other bits last year. Service was great. The UK courier delivered them in two separate deliveries, for some reason, but all went smoothly and saved a lot over UK prices.

Have a look at Rock Auto. Door locks with 2 keys $6.70. Also door handles @ $12.45 Select the option to pay all tax etc upfront, it's cheaper that way. Hope that helps Steve
I'd never heard of rock auto...the prices seem too good to be true...what are the parts like..they seem to be about a third of the ecklers/corvette America prices...

In my experience they're fine. They sell a lot of AC Delco ( OEM) suspension & mechanical parts. Not bought much electrical, except AC delco starter (made in China though, LOL) Gives you a choice of OEM or Economy quality etc. If you put stuff in the basket & your address, it will give you shipping choices. You can back out or empty basket without buying, so good in that respect. Consolidated is best for final price. Try to choose from the same warehouse, a,b,c.to reduce shipping

I recently changed the door locks on my 78 and I had to order 3 times before I got the correct replacements, I ended up sending the last supplier a photo of the original barrels with a ruler next to them, as there were a lot of variations with the barrel lengths - you would have thought the criteria for ordering was; 78 and then power door locks or not, I also found a difference in quality, the one set were rough where they sit against the outer door surface and even if they were the correct spec they were not going on my new paint.
My experience of Rock auto is good.
