Just been watching an episode of Wayne Carini’s TV program 'Chasing Classic Cars', where they were working on a ’71 Corvette.
With the car conveniently raised on a lift it took three guys to remove one trailing arm assembly and replace it with a fully pre-assembled new one.
I remember building two trailing arms with new spindles and bearings on my ’71, after having had to cut off the old ones and then fitting them – without the use of a lift – by myself.
There are times when it’s difficult not to feel smug……
