Filler cover

Evening, can anyone tell me if this is the original filler cover please? As you can see at the top edge it is catching the bodywork and has caused damage already. If this is the original is there a fix for this?

Ah, thought it was a bit suspect! Any pointers as to how I can replace with an original part, would be good to get a used part which may match?

Might be difficult to get a good colour match, in the meantime I'd have a look to see if you can get a small bit of adjustment backwards to stop it hitting the paintwork.

I'll take you up on this next week, thank you so much! I'll read up on how to refit it in the meantime! Just getting some quotes for paint work on doors as well as a blister in the centre of the bonnet....It's not going to be cheap!

From the photo you posted, it looks as though your aftermarket lid is fitted over the top of the original? So it should be straightforward to unbolt that from the hinge. Otherwise, removal of the filler surround, including the hinge assembly isn't too hard.
