Chevy sent out a memo to dealers notifying them that GM was extending the 1st Service Visit time for 2020-2022 Corvettes from the standard 12 months of ownership to 36 months.
GM covers the cost of the 1st service visit, which includes an oil change and a new transmission filter.
According to that original memo, the extension was made to be “more suitable for the driving habits experienced with Corvette owners.”
Following that memo release in Mid-Dec, some dealers were having trouble finding out any documentation for the updated service reimbursements.
So another memo regarding the first service visit extension was sent to dealers Jan 2nd.
This new update is nearly identical to last month’s memo, though we note that the extension is now capped at 24 months of ownership and not the 36 months as stated originally.
