German takes C8 Z51 on Autobahn

Unless you speak his lingo, you will not understand one word he says in this 15-minute testdrive video
Most times he only has one hand on the steering wheel and lessor times no hands !

Most of the testrun is on autobahn, and it sounds like he was very happy with the topend speeds

Anyone know what he said the topend speed was ?

One of our teammates spent many years in Germany on a US Army military base and understood what the guy was yacking about

He says:

It was a pretty favorable review.
The driver was so impressed with the high quality of the workmanship, saying that the European automakers could take a few notes from the Corvette.
His only negative was that it only did around 300 kmh (186 mph) and you need a long distance to reach top speed.
Also said the ride was nice for long distance in tour mode, but the Corvette really was to be enjoyed on curvy roads.
He loved the V8 sound and the Bose system.
He liked how it grabbed everyone's attention as it is very rare to see a C8 in Germany with only a total of 3 registered in all of Germany.

When I had my C4, there were more Ferraris registered than Vettes. Yes, it did turn heads.
I got followed by Ferrari drivers and East German Army helicopters.
Ahh the good old days.

Anyway, a short summary of a very happy Corvette tester.
He said the Z51 was a great deal at 105,000 = 109000 dollars including 19% value added tax.
If only all the US C8s had that good a build quality.
