GM sent out TSB regarding oil leaking from the front of LT6 Z06 engine.
A technical service bulletin issued back at the end of April seems to cover engine oil leak by changing out the gasket seals will fix the problem.
To do so mean your engine has to be yanked, and all front seals be replaced
One C8 Z06 Corvette owner says his is sitting on an engine stand at the dealer about to have 31 gaskets replaced.
The TSB states the following:
This condition may be caused by improper front cover bolt torque or inadequate sealer adhesion at one of the six T-joint locations.
To correct this condition, it will be necessary to install new front cover gaskets and follow the revised RTV sealing procedure, which states
“Ensure all front cover bolts are torqued in proper sequence and to specification.”
