I suppose because of supply and demand, dealers will charge a premium. Many have done it in the past, so it’s nothing new. Remember the 1978 corvette pace car, every Chevrolet dealer got 1 car. I don’t think anybody paid MSRP, dealers were accepting highest offer. The 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible was another example. I suppose it depends on what’s an acceptable mark up. 100k is a bit strong, but there are mugs out there that will pay it for bragging rights.
