Hiya
Question time - I am trying to source a replacement Hose Clips for my car. Having spoken to a few suppliers, they are on backorder and seem to be a big shortage in supplies everywhere.
Having never replaced before - do I need to use specific GM clips or can any do? I am a complete novice so I apologise if that is a silly question. I have the hoses and desperate to tick another job off the list
Many thanks

It's a 1969 car.

Barb, they might be correct but I think these are horrible looking - especially the long screw sticking out.
Much the same for '68 with the sprung wire heater hose clips

Mine came this this type of clip - not very good - they mash-up the hose

Personally I've found the Micalor stainless hd clips very effective......far more so than other types
shopping

OK, so not OEM type - but you can always keep a new set of OEM type clips for future use.......
