Interesting How the Internals of LT6 is for C8 Z06

Very clever engine design by GM
So well that GM is thinking of selling this as a crate engine in the future but not now as they will need a lot of them for this first year C8 Z06
One dealer has over 2,000 people putting down a deposit for first year of this Z06

So how about stuffing one of these in your C3 ?

Some might wish to debate whether short stroke DOHC 4-valves per cylinder ICE engines are actually "the future"!

As mentioned on the other thread those additional 2,000 rpm over the previous engine should go a long way towards solving the lower torque, especially with a computer shuffling gears to keep everything nicely on the boil.

C8 Z06 crate engine for C3 - I'm sure someone in the 'States at some point will do (like they used Cummins diesels, BMW V12's and probably some Jap engines)........but apples and oranges? all those additional rev's gonna need some careful thoughts in terms of utilising the available power band - not so in terms of the rev's available, more the torque band and what kind of transmission you'll need to maximise use of that available torque.
