Roscobbc, Thanks for the info. Yes seems like my timing isn't good. Will have to persevere...

I know many people ramble-on about how strong a M22 'box is........but it still has the same basic construction as an M21......it just that angling of gear teeth is 'kinder' when it used in high output engines.

There's a couple UK based ones on eBay.....one is a '69 coded.......
