Chevy's New Corvette Z06 May Pack an Engine That Shatters a World Record

The 2022 Chevy Corvette Z06 will reportedly have a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine, and a new report says it may make 670 horsepower — making it the most powerful engine of its type.

There are strong rumours coming out of Germany that the European C8 will be 'down' 30 bhp and .5 of a second on the 0-60 mph and performance due to the EU required gasoline particulate filter. Wonder if potential C8 buyers were informed or that - so Europe pro-rata pays more money for a car that 'slower' than USA version. Sounds like a good deal (not!)
