Polishing screen scratches

Hi all , anyone had any success or attempts to polish scratches from windscreen glass? I have an arc where a wiper has scratched the screen.
I have heard of people using “jeweller’s rouge” any ideas or suggestions . TiA

You can get glass polish and a pad to use with a drill. It takes an inordinately long time but does work if they’re not too deep

Wow! quite brutal, think i will try an odd bit of glass before taking the sander to my lovely top tint screen.
