Happy new year all, a query, when fitting a driveshaft to a c3, they seem to come with straps and bolts or u bolts and nuts, anyone know if these are interchangeable? Did some cars come with one type or the other or pos a mix of straps at one end and ubolts at the other. Have new shaft but older slip yoke , any way to orientate the shaft and yoke?
Cant see any weights or drillings on shaft at all
I know I have straps and bolts at gearbox end but dont know what Is at the rear. Also , is there a front and rear to the shaft ?
