Quiz - What is odd on front of the LT6 Engine ?

Wouldn't have a clue - it all looks so complex. Odd that left hand cylinder head position doesn't seem to match r/h side and does that black 'thing' obscure the rover cover? or it is totally different to l/h side?

Heads with 4 total CAMs have red ends, the black dry sump oil tank on left hides the left head from this view
Will be hell if having to change the serpentine belts as this end faces the bulkhead to cabin

Very odd decision to put the heavy alternator up so high, raising the engine's centre of gravity. On a McLaren V8 for example it is as low as it could possibly be without hitting the floor.

There appears to be a picture of a Rocket ship on the right hand side of the photo between the alternator and red head bit. Maybe this car is owned by Flash Gordon  :ROFLMAO:

The design team gave the LT6 engine the nickname Gemini as used by NASA decades ago.
This is due to its use of twin 87 mm throttle bodies, twin cams, twin high-pressure fuel pumps, and other pairs of cool parts

NASA named the Gemini spacecraft and program after the constellation Gemini.
The name is Latin for "twins."
NASA used this name because the Gemini capsule would carry two people.
