Here are a few photos of the C1 and C2 that were entered in the Transatlantic Trophy for Pre 1966 Touring Cars over the weekend . Plus a C7 in the HSCC Thundersports .
Needless to say the cars were beautifully prepared and the C7 sounded amazing ! I got chatting with Alan Letts , the C1 driver in the Internal Pits garage on Sunday . He is a really nice , very friendly guy and very approachable . Had a chat before it was time to line up in the paddock as he was up against a light weight Jaguar E Type for class honours , so wished him luck and to `fly the crossed flags` for all Corvette fans . That was a ` kiss of death ` as he failed to get off the start line and pitted .
