Here are a few photos of the C1 and C2 that were entered in the Transatlantic Trophy for Pre 1966 Touring Cars over the weekend . Plus a C7 in the HSCC Thundersports .
Needless to say the cars were beautifully prepared and the C7 sounded amazing ! I got chatting with Alan Letts , the C1 driver in the Internal Pits garage on Sunday . He is a really nice , very friendly guy and very approachable . Had a chat before it was time to line up in the paddock as he was up against a light weight Jaguar E Type for class honours , so wished him luck and to `fly the crossed flags` for all Corvette fans . That was a ` kiss of death ` as he failed to get off the start line and pitted . :cry:DSCF3907.JPGDSCF3908.JPGDSCF3915.JPGDSCF3916.JPGDSCF3926.JPGDSCF3930.JPGDSCF3930.JPGDSCF3929.JPGDSCF3953.JPG

Thanks for the great photos.
Our planned visit to the pits on Sunday morning went with the rain and with the best races being in the afternoon, we never got there.
Sadly David Methley's lovely C6-R retired after 5 laps (anyone know why?) but the C2 did extremely well with 16th out of 60 and finishing behind a certain Tiff Needell!

All in all, it was great to see five Corvettes on track and flying the flag over the weekend.
