Yes a fabulous day at Stonor Park with sunny weather & truly stunning cars.
A bumper turnout of Corvettes which were able to park up en block on our own CCCUK stand, complete with flags bunting & event shelters.

All this thanks to the not inconsiderable efforts of Mike Penn, rep for Central South.

Mike had previously negotiated with the organisers for the perfect spot in which to set the club up, & ably assisted by Christine & Eddy Eddon, they made the effort to drive 2 hours each way the day before, to get it all set up. On the day, with the addition of Graham Pillon, they were busy ensuring all Corvettes arriving were directed to the designated area to park with the others,if they wished.
So a BIG thank you to everyone involved, but most especially to Mike Penn & the other named members.

Absolutely amazing day, weather was with us, and, what a great selection of Corvettes! Around 45? Super to see them all in one place.

Can I just say a big thank you to everyone that attended in their Corvettes on Sunday , it made the display of Corvettes truly amazing. It was great for me to see new faces and talk with Corvette owners that perhaps only get together a few times a year.

I spent a lot of time with emails and phone calls to the organisers of the show regarding the place for our Corvette area, I think it worked quite well. On the Saturday when we were marking it out and setting it all up the organiser came over and commented that the area I had marked out was way too big, my reply was I don’t think so, in fact we could of done with a bit more room due to the 46 Corvettes that turned up.

Funnily enough the organisers phoned me up today thanked us for coming and asked what I/we thought of the show, and if we had enjoyed it, I told him yes, thanked him and his members for putting it on and allowing us to showcase our Cars. He asked if we would attend next year again, I said yes and asked if he knew the date yet, they don’t as of yet but come December time they will know more, I will ask them again early January, unless someone else would like to take the organisation of the Corvette stand on.

A few stats of numbers for each generation.
C1. = 7
C2. = 6
C3. = 17
C4. = 3 ( which included 1 ZR1)
C5. = 3
C6. = 4
C7. = 3 (which included 1 Z06)
C8. = 3

Once again thank you all for attending and congratulations to the 2 winners of the Corvette trophies.
