Rear window

Hi , just interested, do 68 to 72 people ever take their rear windows out, curious as to if buffety or too drafty, do you get a bit mor v8 exhaust sound

Remove - yes whenever I get the opportunity (in fact its getting close weather-wise when the T tops and rear window come-out permanently for the summer season and door windows are rolled-down permanently too........
Removal of rear window reduces buffeting (and yes you can hear the exhaust more) - IMHO its the best of both worlds.

Yes I do take mine out, it's great.

I haven't taken mine out yet. Mostly because I think the previous owner put clear silicone sealant around it and I didn't want to force it out.

Well the sun was out, out came the vette and it turned in to a no window wednesday ! Love it, the noise is sublime , abit fumey at traffic lights but will be out a lot more now, no noticeable buffeting and a bonus , my shifter rattle aint as bad now
