Reputable garage in Essex

Hi all.

Just purchased a 2010 z51 corvette. It has 35k documented miles, and as I'm new to the corvette world I'm after a decent garage in the south east (preferably essex) for servicing etc. It had an oil change 18 months ago, and although it has only covered 2000 miles since I guess it needs doing? Any advice on this and also if gearbox (it's a manual) and diff oil need doing aswell would be great.

They have been looking after my C5 for years - very happy with them. I normally supply oil, filters and parts - it works very well.

Certainly get the engine oil changed. It's never a bad idea to replace lubricants!

There is a lot of discussion about engine oil for older cars. Your C6 will have used Mobil 1 from the factory, but the formula has changed since then so the Mobil 1 you get today is not the Mobil 1 your car was designed for. I get Driven Racing LS30 from Anglo American Oil [who give a discount to members]. They advertise in Vette News. Check their website regarding the formulation. I also got their diff lubricant too.
