NOTE: Page numbers are references to the 2022 Owner's Manual, and may differ for other years. Not all cars will have all features.

p8: Press the fob UNLOCK twice to unlock the passenger door.

p8: Press the fob UNLOCK for 3 seconds to open the windows.

p8: Press the fob HOOD button 2x and hold to unlock the hood.

p8: Press the fob UNLOCK, then hold HTC button to drop the top (HTC).

p8: Press LOCK, then hold HTC button to open the engine compartment cover.

px: When the car is locked, gas filler door locks; when the car is unlocked, gas filler door unlocks.

p10: Press UNLOCK on door interior for 4 seconds (until you hear 3 chimes) to temporarily disable passive locking (for example, if someone is remaining in the car).

p10: If the key fob battery is too low to start the car, place the key in the center console cupholder closest to front of car, with the mechanical key end facing up, and start the car normally; replace the key fob battery as soon as possible.

p11, 15, 16: There is a mechanical key in the fob - press the button on the side of the fob to release it. There is a key cylinder for the passenger compartment located in the air inlet on the left (driver's) side of the car, just behind the door handle; there is a key cylinder for the trunk located behind the rear license plate. The cylinders are "free-turning locks" (see p.16).

p22: To disable the alarm (or turn it off after it activates): press UNLOCK on the fob, or unlock the car using Keyless Access, or start the car.

p23: To disable the alarm intrusion and inclination sensors (for example, if pets are in the car, or the car is being transported), press the sensor button next to the OnStar button in the overhead panel. (Note: the intrusion system is turned off automatically if the roof panel is off, or the HTC is down.)

p76: Accessory power outlets are located under the glovebox and in the frunk.

p81+: CLUSTER MENU ITEMS: use the thumbwheel and left/right arrow buttons on the Steering Wheel Controls to choose what to display, including (among other things):
  • G-force
  • Friction Bubble
  • Lap Timer
  • Tire Status
  • eLSD (Z51 only)
  • Display Themes (choose to either lock on one mode, or change with the driving mode selected)

p98, 102: To access Valet Mode, touch SETTINGS on the Infotainment home page, then VEHICLE. To set PDR to record during Valet Mode, touch PDR on the Infotainment home page.

p111:

- press the Infotainment VOLUME button to mute the system;
- press and hold the VOLUME button to turn the system off;
- when the system is off, press the VOLUME button to turn the system on.

p112: When on the Infotainment home page, press the HOME PAGE button again to display the Porch View screen, which shows audio, phone and nav together.

p112: Press the HOME PAGE button to exit Android Auto or Apple Car Play. To re-enter Android Auto or Apple Car Play, press and hold the HOME PAGE button.

p112: At the bottom of the home page, in the status bar, is an icon showing the number of notifications. Touch the icon to display the notifications.

p113: Pull up on either FAV button on the steering wheel to display a list of audio favorites. Scroll the favorites using those buttons.

p123: There is an auxiliary 3.5mm (1/8”) audio input jack in the center console. This is for an external audio source (laptop, iPod, etc.). Do not connect headphones to this jack.

p124: Predictive Navigation for the navigation system learns preferences. To enable, touch “…” on the navigation screen, then OPTIONS, then SETTINGS, then MAP & NAVIGATION SETTINGS, then PREDICTIVE NAVIGATION.

p140: The Performance Data Recorder (PDR) memory card slot is located behind the glovebox door, to the left of the glovebox opening.

p144: The PDR can learn custom tracks - Circuit or Autocross (see p144). Actual racetracks can also be downloaded from the internet.

p147: The NFC sensor for smartphone pairing is near the top left of the Infotainment screen.

p.148: A second phone can be paired and enabled as a Secondary Phone; a Secondary Phone can only receive incoming calls - it cannot make outgoing calls. In the phone list, touch the Secondary Phone to swap it for the Primary Phone, so it can make outgoing calls.

p155: For some audio inputs, one available option is Bose AudioPilot Noise Compensation Technology, which automatically adjusts the volume based on ambient noise and vehicle speed.

p.197: To put the car in Neutral with the engine off, see the instructions on p197.

p198: To enable manual shifting: with the transmission in Drive, press the M (manual switch) button in the center console. Use the paddle shifters to shift.

p198: To enable temporary manual shifting: with the transmission in Drive, use either paddle shifter. The car will return to automatic mode if driven at a steady speed without manual shifts or aggressive cornering for more than 7 seconds.

p206: To turn off just the Traction Control System (TCS), press and release the TCS BUTTON [car icon with “OFF” above the MODE SELECTOR KNOB].

p206: To turn off the Traction Control System (TCS) and StabliTrak/Electronic Stability Control (ESC), press and hold the TCS BUTTON [car icon with “OFF” above the MODE SELECTOR KNOB].

p212: The Front Lift System works up to 24 mph.

p213: To memorize a Front Lift location, while the car is lifted, press the left arrow on the Steering Wheel Controls. The car will automatically lift when approaching those locations. Up to 1000 locations can be memorized.

p.213: To use the Front Lift System in Accessory Mode, press and hold the FRONT LIFT BUTTON for 10 seconds.

p214: Competitive Driving Mode allows full engine power with Stabilitrak/ESC (but TCS is automatically turned off). To enable Competitive Driving Mode, set the car to Sport or Track Mode, then press the TCS BUTTON [car icon with “OFF” above mode selector knob] twice in a row. If the car is equipped with Performance Traction Management (PTM), Competitive Driving Mode can only be accessed in Sport Mode.

p214: Performance Traction Management (PTM) (if equipped): uses TCS, Stabilitrak/ECS and Magnetic Ride Control to improve cornering. To enable Performance Traction Management, set the car to Track Mode, then press the TCS BUTTON [car icon with “OFF” above MODE SELECTOR KNOB] twice in a row. Then, use the MODE SELECTOR KNOB (in the center console) to choose 1 of 5 Performance Traction Modes. See p214.

p215: Launch Control is available within Competitive Driving Mode or Performance Traction Management. See p215.

p223: Side Blind Zone Alert: A display lights up on the side view mirrors if there is a car in the blind spot. If a lane change is signaled while a car is in the blind spot, the display will flash.
