Seat belts

Hi all , retro lap and shoulder belts in, went quite well , had to cut the slots through the vinyl seat covers and fit the bezels, anyone doing this job dont make the same mistake I did , the shoulder belt retractors have a plastic lock to remove once fitted level. I fitted the lap belt retractors and then pulled out the fine wire springs as they looked temporary and I confused them with the plastic locking tabs on the shoulder belt ones. Consequently my lap belts would not lock , then I realised and had to retrieve them out of the bin , reshape and re fit them , all fine now . Note to self , “ read instructions more carefully!!

And all back together, some might say a lot of work to get rid of the plastic stalks and red buttons but its the little things that niggle you sometimes.Only little beef is that the new stalks have the buttons against the condole so you dont see the sun motif very happy with the new look tho , much more classy .
