Decided to have a go at starting up my engine for the first time in 2.5 years today. Pulled all the fuses and made sure there were no live wires touching earth (I still have nothing fitted in the passenger compartment except the steering column) and turned the key. It would fire with some Easystart squirted down the carb, but fuel wasn't making it's way from the tank. Rather than flatten the battery I filled the float bowl via the vent tube and she went first time
I have a couple of small water leaks to fix and the high temp paint on the exhaust manifolds smokes well, but other than that a very satisfying day.
Just need my seat covers and door panel skins to arrive from the US and my painter to be ready to spray the car and just maybe I'll get the car on the road this year.
