As some will know, I'm no fan of any ME car and I have a feeling the GM might make a huge error if it drops the "proper" Corvette layout entirely. Despite what the "top team" hear from a small group of followers at race meetings and Corvette ebents, I suspect that the vast majority of Corvette owners will not actually want the impracticalities of a ME car - you can't put luggage for a week on the road in the NCM Caravan in a ME car!

I've always thought as a bystander that the basic C5 layout seemed to work well, a good compromise. I still remember being astonished it was in-fact possible to fit an LS1 under such a low bonnet.
