I placed a pre-order deposit for a C8 Convertible with Ian Allan Motors 18 Months ago. I am still waiting for my order to be progressed and placed with GM. I guess they are overrun with orders. So as it stands, I have no idea when my car will be ordered let alone when I will get it.

One thing is for sure.. When I do eventually get my C8 I certainly won’t be flipping it for a profit.

Jim - you really need to speak with the dealer principal 'in person'.

The home market will always take priority over exports for GM. I also think the UK will also be behind countries like Japan and Australia on the RHD export list. I would chase up the dealer for more information.
