Most Corvette owners or fans are aware of the original VH1 radio station raffle of a group of 36 Corvettes one from each year from 1953 to 1989.
Originally given away in a 1989 VH1 sweepstakes to one winner before being purchased by psychedelic pop artist Peter Max, 36 Lost Corvettes were discovered collecting rust and dust in parking garages across New York City. Now they are being raffled off again having been 'restored' or rather recommissioned with proceeds going to Stand For The Troops a charity that serves USA veterans. Only available to USA residents but an interesting story non the less. Split into five groups and the first two groups have been awarded to the lucky winners already with the next group being drawn in May. All the Corvettes can be seen here ---> The Lost Corvettes together with more interesting back ground and video reaction of the winners to date.
