I understand a little on engine parts as in Cam kits that i am looking into. But on things like poly.bush kits which I am also looking g for. Is there a manufacturer in the UK in hope they use better materials.

British supplier will be found but it's unlikely that anyone actually makes them here in UK.
There's been a story floating around for years re. one of the few US major suppliers of poly pushes and associated items supplying product where the bushing material would crumble and collapse after a relatively short time. Daily users of cars were affected seemingly within months.....with other less frequent users being affected it seems pro-rata time wise. So there were people affected several years later. Did the manufacturer/supplier do a recall to all dealers who had taken the dodgy items into stock? - don't know. Did any end user affected customers get their money back from dealer/supplier chain - don't know. The real problem was that some smaller 'dealers' with stock on the shelf were perhaps unaware of the issue and quite possibly still selling the dodgy items from what could have been (for them) slow moving old stock..........so the original 'issue' with bushes hung around for a few years. Don't believe there is currently an issue with 'fresh' stock.......unless someone knows better?

When I built my beach buggy there were similar issues with poly bushes squeaking, cracking and disintregrating. The worst was the red disc of death, ! A Red poly steering coupling that would break in two and the beetle , van or buggy would suddenly have no steering or control 😱

Only reason i know why to use poly bushes is from past experience in that they stiffen up suspension, better ride and handling. Also last longer than rubber.

Having seem a lot of reviews on Poly bushes for these Vettes they seem to be very poor quality. The reason i ask really on the bushes subject. Maybe the world is catching on the Chinese crap type of manufacturing. It was a while ago since i last bought bush kits and they were excellent quality. They only did 4x4 vehicles though as they were a 4x4 specialist.

What is your company name to see what you can do as i plan on getting a few parts. ?
Can you advice on choice cam kts etc or just buy them in for folk ?

I don’t know if they are available in the U.K. but my current non Vette toy has an Energy Suspension full kit. It’s been on there must be 10 years and came off a car that had done a season of Time Attack on that suspension. They’re very well regarded. They do make kits for Corvettes.

My Corvette has a few of the Energy Suspension stuff on it too as I was replacing some bushes and chose them to replace them with.
