Gotta love those kind of articles - "Used Sports Cars that'll go up in value".
Well, that'll be all of them really over time. Even my old FTO which the scene has never really been interested in - they were shed money for many years, and some still are. The good ones have only just got out of shed money range. As they are a sports car, and they are "going up in value" (really slowly), then it should be on their list
Thing is, after owning 3 Vettes over many years, there is not one of those other 45 cars that I would want to own/excite me. What do you get as a weekend toy after a Vette, for a reasonable amount of dosh without the "frightening" service and repair costs?
As well as the Corvette, I'd have the Lotuses on there, the Jensen Interceptor, Viper, NSX, the Stag, and most importantly I'll take the Aston Martin DB7 please.
