As we move into the middle of April the 25th May does not seem that far away and in recent weeks the weather has certainly improved, so maybe now is a good time to consider joining us for our visit to Podium Place. In previous years this visit has proved extremely popular and we have had many cars attend not only from our own region but from other regions too. Parking is good and as it is a popular place for car clubs you can expect to see other marques of cars too. We are booked in for the morning, there is no specific rule, just come for a few hours and then go home, what ever suits you best, apart from coffee, light refreshments are available to buy. It has proved to be an enjoyable morning.
As their advertising advises "Podium Place, Newbury, offers you a one-of-a-kind experience. Marvel at the theatre of coffee roasting, indulge in the sublime flavours of the finest coffee beans and admire the breath-taking beauty of the world’s most desired luxury sports cars." I can also say they have a good selection of race simulators these days.
The plan is to arrive from 10.00 am onwards, depending on the level on interest and from where people are coming from, we will look to organise some cruise ins.
Information on our visit to Podium place will be publicised by Podium Place
To assist in coordination, I would ask that those who wish to attend let me know, this will facilitate ensuring smooth parking for all cars and also assist Podium to know how big a crowd are coming. Based on feedback i can then advise details or cruise in plans.
So Sunday 25th May 10.00 am onwards
Location : Podium Place, 31A Bone Lane, Newbury, RG14 5SH
Cafe is open 0930 to 1600
This event is of course open to everyone and given its location and closeness to other regions we would be happy to see you all.
