Although now officially closed for business due to Roger and David’s imminent retirement, I was fortunate enough to be invited over by Roger’s nephew (David Jr), and be one of the last people to ever walk through the doors and see Roger’s collection….and what a collection of ‘66-‘69 Corvettes it is!

The rarest and probably most valuable C3 in the world, the Daytona Yellow ‘69 ZL1; matching White ‘67 and ‘68 L88’s; and a lovely Nassau Blue ‘66 Big Block with the super rare homologation special ‘Big Tank’ option!

So sad to see the showroom so empty. I remember it absolutely full of cars.
I wonder what will eventually happen to those kept cars once the inevitable happens to Roger.

Just read that another BIG player in the corvette world has sold his classic car dealership after 44 years in business due to retirement
Dan Mershon of mershons corvettes & classic cars has decided to retire and sold the business. Based in Ohio he’s been a big player in classics, especially corvettes.
He was a nice dealer to deal with, like Roger, he has a passion for the cars he sold.

Seems like all the old dealers are getting to retirement age now.
