Hi all, when i sit in the drivers seat of my 72 coupe with the window up i notice that I can see a gap at the top , the glass does not sit against the weatherstrip even though the window is fully wound up. Is this a Common problem? Has the seal lost its sponginess I wonder. Any ideas 👍

You may well have opened the can of worms that is window adjustment! Although the window is wound up, it may be that the "stops" need a slight adjustment to allow it travel that bit further?

It is possible that the seal is not what it was, but I suspect some adjustment is called for. There are a few guides available, but this was the first I fond...

It's a "fun" little job!:eek:

Fun , hmm I would say fiddly😩thanks for that kentvette. Maybe not so bad once you have done it a time or two. I have a wobly window winder too so will order a part to fix that so can do both jobs whilst door card is off 👍
