Whats up with my bonnet? (or is it hood?)

Re-fitted my bonnet/hood today and adjusted it as best as I can but....

If anything it's slightly too high at the front and rear, but it's a lot too low in the middle and it's the same on both sides! Is it possible to bend a bonnet?

Look-up “hood alignment bumpers”. They’re just small blocks of rubber that fit in the drain channels either side to prop-up the sag, trim them to suit.

Hi Andy, I'd seen them but thought they could only work if it's possible to bend the bonnet some. Alternatively, I suppose they could push the wing down a bit. I'll give it a go.

I believe GM used such bumpers to correct alignment from the factory.

Andy, you're clearly not just a pretty face. It is possible to bend my bonnet! I made up some "hood alignment bumpers" from an old suspension bump stop and hey presto my bonnet is aligned
