Looks really great Adrian, sorry that I missed seeing it on Sunday. Good luck with the sale. This is my 1981 numbers matching C3 Corvette with just 27,000 miles on the clock.

As standard in 1981 the car has a 350ci engine coupled to a TH350-C gearbox. The TH350-C three speed transmission has a lockup torque converter allowing reduced revs at higher speeds.
When new, the car was fitted with all the usual options; power windows, power mirrors, power seat, glass mirror T Tops etc. However, also ordered at the time were two tone red paint and gymkhana suspension. These last two items make the car quite rare. This car has never been restored and has been kept as original as possible throughout its life.
The body colour is two tone red i.e. dark claret and autumn gold. The bodywork and paint are in excellent condition. The underside is also in superb rust free condition. I have maintained the Dinitrol anti corrosion treatment which, judging by the condition under the car, suggests that the treatment may well have been applied when new. The engine bay is also in exceptionally clean condition and totally original.
I replaced the gymkhana heavy duty nine leaf rear steel spring with an equivalent strength fibre mono spring. This along with the full dual exhaust system and remote keyless entry system are the only departure from the original specification.
The car starts easily, runs very smoothly and sounds amazing. Everything works on the car, instruments, cruise control, clock, air conditioning, radio, power mirrors and seats etc. New tyres were fitted in 2014 and have only covered 3000 miles. The life of the car is fully documented. The original bill of sale, owner’s pack, and service invoices going back to the day that the car was sold to its first owner all suggest the mileage to be correct.
I am a long term Classic Corvette Club UK member and I have owned this car for 5 years. The car has been meticulously maintained by myself and a local American car specialist.
Included in the sale are a pair of Magnaflow exhaust boxes, a soft car cover and a General Motors 1981 Corvette Assembly Manual.
Whilst not the cheapest 1981 Corvette for sale, I am confident that this one is amongst the best currently available, and likely to be the only one in the UK to combine the rare colour option, gymkana suspension, low mileage and superb condition inside and out.
