does anyone know where I can buy front and rear bumpers for these cars ? doesn't seem easy to source and mine were taken.

car was being refurbished by john simmons and he disappeared, assuming a financial casualty of covid. I managed to get car back but not all the parts. some parts have been successfully tracked and re purchased but bumpers evade me and don't seem easy to source.

Depending on your longer term 'aspirations' for the '61 it couls be worth making contact with and possibly joining the UK chapter of the NCRS. Whilst (certainly in the UK) a far smaller organisation than the CCCUK their members are far more concerned about vehicle originality, especially with the earlier cars......could be a good destination re. parts and even information relating to someone to put your car back together. You'll perhaps have seen the recent thread on this formum relating to a supposed 'specialist' who literally hid and plundered owners Vettes and other cars for parts...........be carefull out there.
