The Event Timetable says the final item is an American car clubs parade, are we part of that?

You certainly can be John, lots of Corvettes do take part. No need to book anything just get ready to join the line-up at the end of the day and do a lap of the track (at parade speed!). Follow the others taking part - the marshals do the organising.

For one reason or another the last few years and I haven't been able to make Speedfest. Was looking forward to going this year......but unforseen circumstances mean that once again I can't make it. Hope you all have a great time!

Theres an interesting mix of years and engine sizes for the Corvette race. Hard to predict how that race will pan out but it should be a fantastic sight and sound.
John Young is one to watch out for, and good luck Tim of course!
Has there ever been a grid (in the UK) with so many cubic inches of engine capacity vs number of cars I wonder?

This C6 drift car was another highlight of Speedfest. The car is highly modified in virtually every way including the engine having been changed for a turbocharged rotary engine. It did some demo laps of the circuit that were just spectacular. I didn't think it possible to go down the main straight at what must have been 100mph but completely sideways. Awesome!IMG_20230618_091015.jpg
