Bonnet/hood skin change

Hi guys.....does anyone have any tips for replacing the bonnet skin?
(I have found a good looking hood, but it is a skin only, i need to bond it to my frame)

Im looking for the best method of removing my skin, the bonding of the new one im ok with.

Assuming they use the same adhesive on the bonnet as the rest of their car: Heat gun and a pallet knife if it’s an original GM one.

You can ask the repair shop to fix it. Where I live, there are often many repair or even custom shops

But I have a complete 73 bonnet hanging on my garage wall, in primer and in good nick .
