C4 Front upper control arm rebuild

Fitting polly bushes to my front control arms soon, but have a question to anyone that has done this before.
The bushes in the upper arm were considered by GM to be a non serviceable part and as such there is no torque setting for the nuts.
All the information I have seen online use red locktite and the torque setting varies from 40ft lbs to as tight as you can.
Del-A-Lum bushes instruct you to drill the nut and shaft to fit a roll pin, as per picture, has anyone done this on normal polly bushes?
I can't think of a disadvantage to drilling and pinning and it will make it easier should I need to disassemble in the future.
