I'm thinking about replacing my car fire extinguisher, at the moment I have a 1kg powder.
Any thoughts/recommendations on the type/size needed?

I purchased some of these fire safety sticks as they leave no nasty residue and they give club discounts.

Available with different discharge durations

Keep in mind there is a different class of fire extinguishers and if using this for vehicles with fuels the one you get must state it
is that class and is for vehicles and like garages
You want at least one that is class B for fuel and C for wiring fires

Best is one that has a gauge so you know the state it is in
Also at least in the USA other than class but also must have a date code so be sure you're not buying a new one to find old date code
Here in the USA it must be less than like 10 years old

If also racing, where it requires having one mounted in vehicle and car is tech'd they will check the class and date code and would fail
the inspection of wrong class or old date code

Make sure it comes with a mount
