Got it figured out. I was logged in to the site on the computer, but not logged in on either Android device. As soon as I logged in, the GIF started working. Tada!

My old avatar on the old forum was 'active' - the website supported gifs. I tried to upload it to this new forum (as I did with your morphing gif) - and it doesn't appear to support gif's.....

Indeed. I just replaced my static avatar with a GIF, and it does not move.

I'm more of a traditionalist, in spite of the changes I made to my car. However, it is true that 15" diameter tires are getting extremely difficult to find at reasonable prices, so some people are moving up to 17" and 18" wheels and tires.

IMHO, the tiny sidewalls suit the more modern cars.
