Hi the guy that built it said he was running 5lb of boost and 527 bhp not sure of torque but it is EdelbrockTPI which were known for good torque because of the long rails
Probably equal as it spins up in 3rd(Tremec 5 speed)😀

Hi it’s not a drag car it won an scca circuit championship in the statesView attachment 20719View attachment 20720
Nice choice of wheels - similar to my JYD's - a modern 'take' on those old school magnesium spindle-mount front runner ARE wheels from the 60's and 70's - what sizes front and rear?

Well spotted mrcricket it was indeed an Adrian Dromey car 😀👍
I recall Adrian mentioning that car to me a couple of years ago - if I recall correctly he picked the up as a part finished project with most of the parts to finish it - 'bundles' spent on parts my prior owner seemingly!

Hi I would have to think twice doing a RWYB at the Pod you can easily break stuff as it is so grippy😩
You just need to be 'sensible' lauching off the line...........I have more of a worry perhaps than most with 606 ft.lbs of torque going through the rear-end and 285 section rubber.........

Car was bought over complete with front splitter and rear wing which Adrian removed as too low
It was 100,000 dollar open check book build
I have folder 3 inches thick of modifications
It was also Willwood centre fold in there ads and brochure
The mods and spec are unbelievable 👍

Really lovely car and set up … I’ve got an ‘87 with the L.98 engine … ported plenum and Siamese’s runners much like your Edelbrook setup. AIR and cats removed, long tube headers, cool running, bigger injectors etc. etc.
I’ve researched the Procharger kit time and again … part of me thinks it looks like a well designed kit that can be bolted in “ready to go”. Really appealing! Part of me worries that I’d be creating a bit of a monster, that may not be so day to day usable as the current car, and potentially grenade spec (sooner or later it’ll go “bang”!!)
How does the L.98 / Procharger set up work for you as a road car ?
PS … Mine will be in Classic and Sportscar in the February edition representing the 80’s!!
