You have three options - leave as is.
Buy a set of Bernies L88 flares and the commensurate 'glassing, bonding and (hopefully) blending-in fender spray job.
Or 4 new fenders or fender sections and 'glass/bond/blend spray etc. as above.
It certainly looks strange........if that was a 'modification' done perhaps in the 70's of 80's for putting on a pair slicks I'd understand as the wider slicks were generally much taller too......but then too wide/too tall becomes an issues with suspension travel and tyres hitting fender (even 'abbreviated' fenders) - having said that a pair of 10" wide mag wheels of the day with a pair of L60 Grabbers would have needed clearance.......and the front too?
