Full framed chassis and 300 lbs or so lighter than stock set-up - even BBC engine transmission is lighter than Jag lump......

James, how did you get on viewing the 1969 Corvette? Any good?
If you have Whatsapp I can send you the video I took in the passenger seat but here are the underneath photos. I did check the windscreen frame, around the radiator area, down the door jams and under the T-Tops but it was completely fine. I didn't get to see down the footwell and behind the plate for rust.

Thought that from the images. Be nice to get an idea of oil pressure though.
So has the experience made you want one more or less than before?!
More. I know it's low down and small compared to other cars but it doesn't bother me that much.

Like so many of it`s kind unfortunately . All spit and polish on the outside and precious little care and attention underneath .

I enquired about this one a couple of years ago when it was last for sale. The body looks good in the pics but it appears to be a text book twenty footer. It would probably make a good long term driver project car. However, anyone looking at as a short term project might be better off spending more up front on something that needs a lot less. 👍🏻
