A very rare & odd converstion

Throughout the decades of me doing custom tuning of the PCM/TCM controllers
such as an LS3 installed into a 1936 DeSoto, also 1926 Ford pickup to sand dune buggies with LS1s to even a C4 ZR-1 LT5 in a
1930 Duesenberg for a lawyer of GM legal, etc






here is a real odd one of a kind

2 guys bought a 2005 C6 Corvette and ripped out the engine and designed a fully functional electric motor in place
The PCM and TCM are still needed so have to tune what is needed to make it work as if the stock engine was still in it



What mess did I get myself into this time !

That can't be a real Duesey - I haven't seen a real one for less than $1,000,000. nobody can be that mad
To me the Duesenberg was the greatest car ever made.
They had a model J at the Haynes motor museum which was valued at in excess of $10,000,000
and James the coolest people in Hollywood used to drive them (Clarke Gable and Gary Cooper to name a couple) and even the most famous gangster Al Capone had one.

Agree about messin` with a genuine Duesey though . Mega bucks back in their day and mega bucks now !

This was totally hand built and then transplanted a C6 LS7 engine with a 4.54 rear end gear.

When I got the tuning done, we went for a testdrive, so I could collect the data to see how the tune was
and what the final HP and Tq was

Notice how slammed they put this beast



Drive like a 60-year-old bitch, I doubt it has shocks, if it did, they barely worked and worse is the bolts the seats directly to the floor
so you felt every fricking rock and hole in the ground
Think my lower back was screwed up for like 3 days afterwards

Must be hell getting those wheels on/off !

I must admit, I’m not too keen on the rat look. 25+ years ago, before I think the term rat was invented there was a 59/60 vette around that was what we now call the rat look. It was one scruffy mother. Had a nice plate on it from memory single number three letters. Tried to buy it numerous times over the years but no luck. Probably got a picture of it somewhere.
