Astronaut Alan Shepard’s 1968 427/435 convertible is coming up for sale at Barrett Jackson auction in January.
Also in the sale is Burt Reynolds 1977 Trans Am.

Both look lovely.

No, it is the last of his personal trans am’s given to him by Pontiac. It was sold shortly before his death. The person who bought it is now selling it.
